We are a seeking a Director of Nonprofit Sales and Outreach to work in concert with the team to create and implement our roadmap to achieve rapid customer acquisition. The candidate should have extensive experience in building high performing teams, and creating effective sales strategies in their sector. In addition to having a natural ability to cultivate relationships with nonprofits, you are a super connector and are able to network effectively with nonprofit Board members, CEOs and Development staff. Work in partnership with Executive Management and company advisors to facilitate planning and strategy sessions for customer acquisition and increasing brand visibility.
Ensure that the company has a strong local and online brand recognition to scale customer acquisition.
Develop and execute upon a marketing strategy to elevate LiveImpact’s brand awareness.
Closely manage external lead gen and sales teams.
Build foundation, corporate, and government relationships.
Lead, inspire, and empower our biz dev team to achieve success.
Maintain a portfolio of 30-40 of your own prospects.
Advance existing client relationships into expanded engagements through delivering outstanding results and finding new ways that clients can benefit from LiveImpact’s other tools.
Develop and implement the roll out of a nationwide channel partner program.
Build relationships with community stakeholders, bloggers, and other nonprofit leaders and represent LiveImpact at events in the community and online in forums and webinars.
Create and publish thought leadership such as videos, blog posts, white papers etc.
4+ years of experience working with nonprofits.
Experience working with program outcomes, grants, and government contracts is a plus.
Experience working with Salesforce, Raiser's Edge and other CRMs
Comfortable using different technologies and able to work with a variety of software/services
Experience producing marketing material and working with design teams
Experience creating and maintaining online and web content
Creative business mind and effective problem solver, preferably with strong marketing and sales skillsets.
Motivated and diligent self-starter with a track record of success.
Relationship oriented and can interact successfully internally and externally.
Superior written and oral communication skills; ability to present to nonprofits with grace and confidence.
Visionary team leader that puts their team’s success ahead of their own.
An agile manager that can manage active prospects and competing priorities with a sense of humor, focus, and patience.
Readiness to work in a fast paced and highly collaborative entrepreneurial environment.
Full Time, non-exempt status.
This position can work from the San Francisco Bay Area or Greater Los Angeles
